RC2 Corp. has determined that the surface paints used on recalled items contain lead, which is toxic and can be extremely harmful if ingested by children. The items that have been recalled are as follows:

The front of each recalled toy features the Thomas and Friends Wooden Railway logo in the upper left-hand corner, and a manufacturing code can be located on the bottom of the toy itself or on the inside of the battery cover.
